These terms and conditions are for the benefit of you as the client and SDM Training Services. Please take some time to familiarise yourself with them. We would be happy to field any questions you might have.
We reserve the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice.
By booking and attending a course with us, it is taken as proof that you have read, understood and agree with the Terms and Conditions detailed here.
The following terms and conditions apply to all training courses.
Your course attendance:
Discussions during courses are kept entirely confidential and in the understanding that it shall never be passed on to or read by any third party. We will never share your information with anyone else, unless by failing to do so puts others in immediate danger.
You agree to treat all who attend the course as delegates or professionals with respect and dignity, regardless of their personal background or circumstances. You agree to attend the course free of drugs and alcohol and behave to standard that does not cause disruption.
Anyone acting on behalf of SDM Training Services does not assume or accept responsibility for delegates’ healthcare needs.
Where are the courses held?
Most courses are delivered at a client’s venue or online via video conferencing. We are based around the Kent area but can travel further afield, covering the whole of the UK. Prices reflect Kent delivery and courses outside of this area will incur travel costs which will be made clear in the quote.
Where SDM Training Services have provided the location, the course will be delivered in a venue not owned by ourselves. We take pride in using socially responsible locations to deliver our training events. The training room is booked exclusively by us for the course so it is unlikely that you will be disturbed. However, there may be other events taking place in the building, but every care is made to keep disruption to a minimum both in the planning and running of the course.
SDM Training Services agree to make the commitment that the price you see advertised is what you pay, there are never any hidden extras.
For yours and our security, we prefer payment in advance through electronic bank transfer, but cheque or cash is also accepted. Bank transfer details are available via the website or can be sent to you once you have booked onto the course. We regret that we are currently not able to accept payment by credit/debit card. Invoices and receipts can be provided upon request.
Payment must be received in full prior to attending any training event run by us.
Assisted payments are available on arrangement. We take pride in not allowing financial hardship to restrict your ability to develop.
We strictly adhere to the Terms and Conditions and associated Cancellation Scale.
Any deposit paid is non-refundable and non-transferable. Should you fail to pay your full course fee on the due date of the invoice or prior to commencement of the course you will lose your deposit and unfortunately, your place will be released to another delegate.
We urge you to get in touch as soon as possible if, for any reason, you have to cancel an agreed booking. Cancellations must be notified to us in writing, email, or text (not via Facebook or Twitter or other social networking site please). The Cancellation Scale set out below will apply:
Less than 4 calendar weeks 100%
Less than 3 calendar months 75%
More than 3 calendar months 50%
Occasionally we are asked to run training events at shorter notice. If this is the case, then the above Cancellation Scale will not apply and a flat rate of 50% of the cost of the full course price will be applicable should you cancel within 4 weeks from the start date.
Cancellation by SDM Training Services:
Any cancellation of a course by us with no rescheduled date(s) offered will result in a refund being made in full.
Any cancellations of a programme by us with rescheduled dates, you will be given the option to attend the new dates or receive a refund in full.
